Caroline Twohill is an award-winning encaustic mixed-media photographer living in Philadelphia, PA. Her artistic process combines her appreciation for photography with her first love, painting. For her fine art, Caroline works exclusively on medium-format film. Once developed and printed, she infuses wax encaustic, damar resin, and various forms of oil paint into her pieces.

Having worked as a commercial photographer for over 10+ years, Caroline is highly attracted to documentary street-style photography. She gravitates toward the mundane aspects of American life.

Caroline graduated with her Bachelor of Science and, in 2017, her Master of Arts from Barry University in Miami, FL. She is currently enrolled at Thomas Jefferson University, where she is working towards her Master of Family Therapy. She plans to work as an art therapist for children and adolescents while always continuing to produce her art.

All pieces are one of a kind and available for sale upon request. Prints are available as well and manufactured in her home studio.
